By Road: Tourists can reach Sikkim via National Highway 10, which connects Siliguri to Gangtok in 4-5 hours of journey.
Inner Line Permit (ILP): Foreign nationals and Indian citizens outside Sikkim need an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Sikkim. ILPs can be obtained online or in person at designated counters in entry points like Rangpo, Melli, and Pakyong.
Required Documents: Applicants need to provide valid ID proof, passport-sized photos, and a travel itinerary for the ILP application. Foreign tourists may need additional documentation, such as passports and visas per Indian immigration regulations.
