The ideal time to visit Nepal is undoubtedly between October and December. During these months, the skies are crystal clear, providing breathtaking and spectacular views. The weather conditions remain dry until about April, with temperatures varying depending on the region. Although January and February can be very cold, especially at night, with average temperatures of 6°C in Namche Bazaar, Nepal is still a worthwhile destination to visit during these months.

By Air: Tribhuvan International Airport is Nepal's main airport with flights from major cities worldwide. Many airlines offer direct flights to Kathmandu from destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangkok, Singapore, and Dubai. Upon arrival, travellers can access taxis, buses, or private transfers to reach their destination.
By Land: Travellers from India can enter Nepal via popular border crossings at Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, and Nepalgunj. From there, buses, taxis, or private vehicles can be taken to reach Kathmandu or other destinations in Nepal. Similarly, Tibet (China) travellers can enter Nepal at Rasuwagadhi or Kodari border points, but it's essential to check current border regulations and permit requirements before travelli
By Train: The British-era Nepal train line from Janakpur to Jayanagar was shut down in 2014 and is being upgraded. There are no direct India to Nepal trains, but one can take trains up to Gorakhpur or Raxaul and continue the journey by road. Howrah Station near Kolkata has trains to the Raxaul Junction at the border.
