On arrival pick up from IXB Airport/NJP Railway Station Drive to Phuentsholing. The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. As reach Phuentsholing check in at hotels. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuentsholing.
After breakfast check out the hotel and get the permit done and drive to Thimphu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, Which is about 9000 ft above the sea and Chukha Dam. On the way visit Kharbondi Gumpha, Wankha waterfalls and halt at Chojum to take photographs of the confluence of two rivers of Bhutan. After resume your journey for Thimphu, as reach check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.
After delicious breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Punakha. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. During the road trip, you will pass through the Dochula, where you will spot mani wall, Chorten, prayer flags, and others. This is the country’s highest road. You can even spot the peaks of surrounding mountains, if the sky is clear. Top peaks to spot during your drive are Masagang, Tsendagang, Terigang, Kangphugang, Table Mountain, and others. This includes the Gangkhar Puensum peak, which is the highest in Bhutan as reach Punakha, we will visit Buddha dordenma, Punakha Dzong, suspension bridge, after sightseeing transfer back to Thimpu and overnight at Thimpu.
After breakfast, Visit the Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue). Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre, Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan. Finally visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery and the Takin Preserve Centre. Takin is the national animal of Bhutan. In the evening visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). After sightseeing transfer to the paro. As reach check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.
After breakfast, Visit Nya-mey Zam and Dungtse Lhakhang, Kila Gompa, Druk Choeding, Tamchog Ihakhang, Ringpung Dzong, view of Taktsang Monastery, Ta Dzong . After sightseeing return back to the hotel. Evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.
